I’m Jackson Wright

I’m an actor and singer from Southern California who loves telling stories that move people. I’ve been honored to win Best Male Actor at the Jerry Herman Awards the past two years — for Valjean in Les Misérables and Tony in West Side Story — and to be heading to New York next month to represent Los Angeles at the 2026 Jimmy Awards. Most recently, I had the chance to play Ryan in several episodes of The Westies, an Amazon/MGM+ crime drama premiering this summer. This fall, I’ll be starting at Ithaca College to pursue my BFA in Musical Theatre. Whether I’m on stage or on camera, I’m drawn to characters who feel real — people who are trying, failing, overcoming, and who sometimes inspire. I believe there’s real magic in theatre, film, and television — they can make us laugh, cry, and see ourselves a little more clearly. Away from the stage, I’m a big animal person, sports fan, and adventure-seeker. I hope you enjoy watching my work as much as I’ve loved creating it. Thank you!
